Bicycle registration agreement

Upon completion and approval of this registration form, a unique access code will be assigned to you. The State Agency CTR Office and/or your Agency Commute Trip Reduction Coordinator is responsible for approving individuals for bicycle cage access codes.

As a user of the bicycle cage, you need to be aware of the following:

  1. GA will issue a unique security code directly to each user. Users must protect their unique access code and not reveal it to others.
  2. Employees understand that they are parking their bicycles in the cages at their own risk. The Department of General Administration is not liable for any theft or damage to user’s bicycle while using the cages. Users are encouraged to secure their bicycles with their own locks on the bicycle racks within each cage.
  3. The bicycle cage is intended to serve as a secure parking facility for state employees who commute by bicycle. As such, users are not to use the enclosure as a place to store a bicycle for long periods of time. Bicycles will normally not remain in the enclosure overnight, unless the employee used their bicycle to commute to work and is on out-of-town travel.
  4. Users are to notify the State Agency CTR Program at ctrmail@ga.wa.gov, or to GA’s Division of Capitol Facilities at cardkey@ga.wa.gov or at (360) 725-0000 or via the Bicycle Cage Cancellation page when they discontinue use of the secured bicycle cages, or when terminating employment with the State of Washington.
  1. Each user will make sure the door is closed and locked when leaving a bicycle cage. If there is a problem with security of the cage, immediately notify GA’s Division of Capitol Facilities at (360) 725-0000.
  2. Users will be careful not to make excessive contact with or cause damage to other bicycles in the bicycle cage.
  3. Individuals will not leave litter in the bicycle parking area and will share in the effort to keep it clean for all users.
