Parking lots
- Visitor parking cost $1.50 per hour weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but is free on evenings and weekends
- Parking fees can be paid by credit/debit card, $1 bills or by coin (.05, .10, .25, .50, 1.00)

Note: employees of the state of Washington who work on the capitol grounds may not use visitor parking between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. See WAC 236-12-188 for complete conditions and rules.
General Administration Parking Garage (upper level)
- 77 parking stalls on the upper level for mid-size vehicles (e.g. Toyota Camry) and compact cars (e.g. Ford Focus) only
- For safety reasons, SUVs, vans and pick-up trucks may not be parked on the upper level of the garage
- A plastic bar at the entry to the upper parking level is in place to prevent larger vehicles from entering
West side of General Administration Building
- 35 visitor parking stalls
- for use by SUVs, vans and trucks
North and South Diagonals on capitol grounds
- North diagonal: 54 visitor parking stalls
- South diagonal: 48 visitor parking stalls
- 14 visitor parking stalls
