Make a motor pool reservation
Reservations can be made:
Vehicle types
Some vehicle types require more advance notice.
- Mid-size sedans
Can be reserved up to 30 days in advance for daily or weekly use. Reserve at least one week in advance be sure of availability. - Hybrid vehicles
The motor pool has a limited number of Toyota Prius hybrids. - Station wagons, passenger vans, and cargo

Call our dispatch office for reservation and availability information. - Accessible van or car
We have two specialty vehicles: a van with a wheelchair lift (half-hour training required; schedule in advance) and a sedan with hand controls. - Sport utility vehicles
We have a limited number for use.
Vehicle pickup and return
Picking up a vehicle
For vehicle pickup.
- Have a valid driver's license
- Show an agency vehicle authorization card
A fuel card is provided by the motor pool.
Returning a vehicle
- Return with at least 3/4 tank of fuel. If not, a $10 charge will be assessed.
- When possible, return vehicle inside the fenced area.
- Return keys to dispatch and notify them of the parking space number.
- After hours, use the night drop.
