Receiving 98504 mail
We deliver incoming Federal mail addressed to state agencies using the 98504 Zip Code.
- Communicate the correct mailing address to your customers including the agency, PO Box, and 98504 Zip Code. Mail can be delayed when the incorrect address is used. Notify the sender when the incorrect address is used.
- The street address should be used to receive items through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Reduce unsolicited mail
Mailing costs can be reduced by controlling unsolicited. CMS customers using the 98504 Zip Code are charged for the volume of mail they receive so eliminating unwanted mail is a way to reduce those costs. CMS suggests removing names from “junk mail” lists by contacting the sender by phone, email, or mail. Generic Change of Address Cards are available free of charge from CMS to use for notifying senders by mail. To order the cards, use our online order form.
