Scheduled maintenance or repairs
Maintenance should occur at scheduled intervals based on the vehicle type and mileage (see State Fleet Operations quick reference sheet). Assigned driver and Agency Vehicle Coordinator will receive an e-mail notification up to 750 miles before maintenance is due. In this email there will be an inspection sheet attached. After maintenance is performed, the inspection sheet must be faxed (360-407-0007) back to the Fleet Operations by the vendor.
**Because newly consolidated vehicles do not have a maintenance history with Fleet Operations, you could potentially receive notifications for service.
For certain locations, Fleet Operations and partner agencies perform scheduled maintenance or unscheduled repairs. If you are within any of the following counties, you can request service online by clicking on the county name. Your information will be sent directly to the partner city/county agency fleet operations shop:
- Thurston County
- Clark County
- Cowlitz County
- King County
- Pierce County
- Snohomish County
- Spokane County
- Whatcom County
For all other locations or if you have any questions, please contact fleet operations.
Basic Oil Changes
You may use a local “quick lube” vendor for basic oil changes, windshield wiper replacements, fluid top-offs etc. Any maintenance performed by a vendor over $100.00 needs to be pre-authorized by Fleet Operations (1-800-542-6840). All invoices need to be signed by the driver indicating the service was received.
Loaner vehicles
You can request at loaner vehicle at the time you schedule your car for maintenance. See Rent a vehicle for more information.
